Mobile Bones helps huskies to World Record.

Mobile Bones helps huskies to World Record.

A team of British Siberian Huskies fed on Pooch & Mutt’s joint supplement, Mobile Bones, set the Guinness World Record for the Fastest 100m on a dog sled.

The dogs owned by Sindy Ratani and driven by Suzannah Sorrell completed the course on a deserted Norfolk beach in 10.65 seconds.

Sindy Ratani said “Our Guinness World Record holders are fed on Mobile Bones, they are all hard working veterans so need that extra something that Mobile Bones gives them to keep their joints in tip top condition. It’s great to see them enjoying life in the fast lane.”

“Many of the dogs are rescue dogs and I am so proud of them. They have done really well especially because it is their first time at the seaside. The vast open space of Holkham is very different to the forest trails they usually race in.”

The 100m World Record started as a bet. The bookmakers William Hill challenged Miss Sorell, journalist and director of the Big Dog Consultancy, to set a world record. If she did so they would donate £3,000 to her chosen charities. Now that the record has been set donations have been made to Sled Dog Welfare, Great Dane Adoption Society, Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and a Norfolk greyhound rescue centre.
